Product Overview:

Dutch elm disease and sycamore anthracnose are fungal diseases that cause infection in the small twigs and branches. Arbotect is a systemic fungicide that is applied by macro-infusion and provides protection to the entire canopy.

Mode of Action / How Product Works:

Research shows Arbotect has the unique ability to move into newly formed tissue each year. This means a single application of Arbotect protects for three growing seasons before reapplication is needed.

Application Method:

Arbotect is applied through a process called macro-infusion. This is a tree care tool that enables an arborist to efficiently deliver a large volume of diluted solution directly into the water conducting tissues of a tree through the root flares.

Application Timing:

Arbotect should be applied during the growing season when the tree has fully developed leaves. Applications may be made until there is fall color.

How Much Product do I Need?

Elms: Use 12 oz Arbotect for every 5” DBH. Dilute every two oz of Arbotect used in 1 gallon of water (e.g. 72 oz of Arbotect are diluted in 36 gallons of water).
Sycamores: Use 8 oz Arbotect for every 5” DBH. Dilute each oz of Arbotect in 1 quart of water.

How Long Does Arbotect Last?

Arbotect protects elms and sycamores for 2-1/2 to 3 growing seasons fromone application (shorter residual in southern climates).
