Proper Application Means Even and Complete Distribution

The purpose behind applying Cambistat is toachieve even and complete uptake and distributionin the tree. All of your application techniques mustbe aimed at achieving this goal.

About Cambistat

  1. Different tree species have different sensitivities to Cambistat. There are six different dosage categories listed on the rate chart which is updated annually and available from your distributor or Rainbow.
  2. Dosage is also determined by the size (DBH) of the tree. The larger the tree the more material you will need to use. These dosages are listed on the rate charts. You simply need to identify what rate category your tree species is in, measure the size, and look at the rate chart for the proper dosage. You must also consider the crown size which is explained in “Dosing Considerations”.
  3. Cambistat is applied to the soil/trunk interface by digging a small trench or soil injection. The use of nonionicsurfactants is optional and can be helpful in soils that will not absorb the Cambistat solution.
  4. Do not tank mix Cambistat with fertilizers or any other pesticides. You can apply fertilizers and other pesticides at the same time as long as they are not mixed together.
